It looks like my scanner will live a little longer, I was able to repair it. Woot!
I might need a new printer…
Just one more thing to break around the house. Last night I was trying to scan some of my bills and wouldn’t you know it my scanner broke. I might have to take it apart tonight and see if I can figure out why it stopped running. I suspect it’s the flatbed scanner that’s the root of the problem. I’m anticipating that I’ll need a new multi-function printer. I saw there were some decent one for pretty cheap that will do multi-sided scans with the ADF and double sided printing now. I think the printer email address might be the best feature. Even if it didn’t have that service it’s not like it would be hard to script.
No luck with getting a generator. I was able to get a new one from Lowell’s but it was DOA. I’ll have to return in and just tough it out. Were not expecting power until Sunday. :-(

I just went outside to dump the trash and tne snow is just a frozen mess. Its bad, i would not want to drive on that.

I’m hoping to get ICS on my Asus tablet soon. It looks pretty cool, I’ve heard that Asus has had some issues with the prime so that may be part of the delay. In previous articles I’ve read it was expected to deploy in December but it looks like that didn’t happen.
