Trying to think up boy names this afternoon, Laura and Julia are not fans of the name “Stig”, I wonder why. :-)
Here’s something I never really understood about using my skydrive. Did you know that there are two different skydrive you can use? Yes, it’a bit confusing if you ask me. Why have two different area’s with different storage limiations. One is the devices skydrive with 4GB and the other is you Phone’s SkyDrive with 24GB. They are both access differently the synced storage SkyDrive is using from the Live Essentals Mesh service, this is a very handy service if you have multiple PC’s and you want common files across all of them. Live Mesh will keep all your PC’s updated with the same files, I love this and use it all the time.
The second is the generic SykDrive with 24GB that is used by you phone. this is the one everybody is used to seeing. My questions are, why have two different storage areas and why can’t I see my SkyDrive Synced storage files from my phone? ”There can be only one” as they would say in Highlander. Now why do I care now… Well I just installed the latest Beta of Windows 8 and Live Mesh service didn’t move over with the install. But there is a Metro app called SkyDrive and I was hoping I could see my data from that… but no! Grrr, Windows 8 please help get this figured out. Either build-in Live Mesh or allow me to see both SkyDrives.
