Gordon Ramsay and the power of delegation
Last night I was watching Gordon Ramsay’s show Kitchen Nightmares and while it was entertaining it did get me thinking. One show specifically show how a chief was trying to do it all and became overwhelmed. Being so overwhelmed resulted in the product suffering. This scenario rings very true even for myself. This is a good lesson to learn from, if you can’t let go and allow others to help then you will sink. At time when the heat gets turned up I can get stuck in this mode while I’m working on multiple issues. Allowing others to help will allow you to get more things done, have more free time, and keep quality up. Most of us don’t wear a super hero suite with a red cape every day. Its time to let go and allow others to help.
